NYE Rocked at Parade Square
During sound check I figured I’d get pretty soaked at this live show but thought to myself, “Who’s afraid of a little water”? I was prepared with a rain coat and rain
boots but they were barely needed on New Year’s Eve by show time. The CTV/HRM event at Parade Square featuring Three Sheet and headlining act, The Mellotones, played to an audience of more than 5000 people. The rain eased off, just dropping in from time to time. The temperatures were pretty mild and the crowd was loving the show.
EMC of Three Sheet treated the crowd to a solo beat box 
number and they were not disappointed. The audience had their dancing shoes on and were loving the funky medleys from The Mellotones. I’m sure people could have stayed dancing into the wee hours. The band’s Facebook pages lit up like a Christmas Tree with big kudos from Newfoundland to Ontario.
The crew from the event worked a long day but it certainly paid off with a fantastic production. Special thanks to Liz Rigney for the invitation to play! Here’s a few shots from the show but I’m sure you’ll see more popping up on a Facebook page near you!
